Windows 10: Windows 11 - How can I change the hover tooltip information to show year along with date...

As seen in the screenshot, I want to change the way the date is displayed in Windows Explorer, both in the folder and in the hover tooltip so that the date shows year along with date and month.

Strange pink highlight on hover/tooltip text

It looks like the RGB value that my computer has set should be similar to R: 253, G: 0, B: 249.
In the "Colors" directory of regedit there's no value that looks as if it has been set to the hot pink colour. Interestingly the hot pink highlight also shows up for some text in regedit:



Note: the pink highlight doesn't occur when I actually highlight things. It doesn't disapear when I highlight things either. It just shows up by default on certain bits of text, most commonly settings tabs (File, Edit, Tools, View, etc.) in most programs and hover/tooltip text on things - e.g. Hovering over a text document on my desktop will tell me the Type, Size, and Date modified but all this information has this strange pink highlight.

Because of this I'm not sure which value to change as Hilight seems to be set to the default blue, could you suggest a directory where I might find the correct value to change?

Tooltips in taskbar list

I have the Windows setting to Always Combine buttons; when I click on a taskbar button it displays a list with the titles of the open windows (I have the registry setting Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband\NumThumnails DWORD (32 bit) (REG_DWORD) with value 0)

so that makes it a list rather than the preview, which is what I want, now the problem is when the list is displayed and I hover with the mouse over an item (or if I do Win+number, repeatedly to cycle through the items), there is this tooltip that shows up, in case the title is on the bigger side and doesn't fit on width, that shows the entire text of the title over several lines. I hate this thing because it obscures the other items in the list.

Would there be any way to turn these tooltips off?

Note I'm not asking to turn off the tooltips that show when you hover over the taskbar button - but when you hover over an item in the list.

Alternatively, is there any way to make the list wider so that longer items fit in it, and that way, the tooltips won't show anymore (I noticed they don't show when I hover over a list item that short - shorter than the overall list width)?

Date and Time Year is 3015 and can't change to 2015.

I suggest you to set “Windows Time” service as manual. Follow the steps provided below.

• Press Windows logo Key + R key.
• Type services.msc
• Right click on Windows Time service.
• Select Properties.
• Under startup type drop down, change it to manual.
• Click on Apply button and OK button.

Restart your computer and try to change the date and time and check.

To change the date and time, follow the steps provided below.

• Go to Date and time settings.
• First, turn of the set time automatic.
• Then Click on Change button, under Change date and time.
• Now set the date and time, and then restart the computer and check.
