  1. Windows 11 How can I see the "which device did you plug in" tab

Sometimes when I plug the headphones it is selected as "headset" not as "headphones" and the microphone will stop working. In windows 10 it was always popping so I could solve it easy, but in windows 11 I couldn't find it anywhere or any method to change it so now I can't use my headphones and talk with someone at the same time. What should I do?

    :)

Computer Won't Auto Change the Playback Device When Headphones Plugged In/Out

    Hi Michael,

I understand your concern and will be happy to assist you.

Is the issue specific to only Headphones/ Does External Speaker play when plugged in?

I suggest you to try resetting the default device as shown in the steps given below and check if the issue persists.

    • Plug in the Headphones in the machine.

    • Go to Start and Control Panel.

    • Select 'Hardware and Sound'.

    • Click 'Change system sounds'.

    • Click 'Playback' tab. (It should then show you your headphones in the list).

    • Select your proper Headphone device from the list, then Click 'Set Default'.

    • Now unplug your Headphones and select speakers from the list, then Click 'Set Default'.
Hope it helps. Please reply for further queries on this.

    Internet Explorer 11 Browser Tabs

    Hi,

When you go to a certain website using Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10 that requires 64-bit and it opens the tab in 32-bit, it is possible that there were changes or upgrades made.

For us to better assist you with this concern, we need to ask a few questions:

    • Were there any changes or updates made prior to this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

For information and steps to help resolve the issue, you can refer to Don Varnau's post on this

    link
    .

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Thank you.

Windows 11 How can I see the "which device did you plug in" tab

IE 11 - Not seeing open tabs on other devices on new tab page after Upgrading to Windows 10

My new tab page does not show open tabs on other devices in Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10 after upgrade on my Surface Pro 3. This is actually the case for all of my upgraded Windows 10 devices logged in with the same account. Any one else having this
problem and any suggestions? Is this feature gone?
