    Windows 11: How does one go about to copy and paste shapes in the new paint program?


    Like seriously, how do you copy and paste shapes in the new paint?In the older versions, you could just ctrl c, ctrl v the thing and it would work, but the current paint doesn't allow it, neither did I find any other way to do so...For some reason, it keeps saying failed to load images, so I might have to put it in imgur or somethinghttps://imgur.com/a/xKptrW7

    How to copy and paste into Paint

    Within Windows 2007 under start you had a list of installed programmes and features and under the title Accessories amongst other useful things you had Paint. There one could copy and paste text from a Word document and save it as a picture file but under
    the new paint how do you do the same thing? With the option of as new canvas I'm given the choice of copying a picture, draw etc but cannot see of find where I can copy and paste text.

    Microsoft signals end of Paint program

    Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

    In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

    Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

    Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

    • Have you tried to copy and paste the pictures in paint and check?
