Windows 10: Windows 11 How to Change Appearance of Log In Screen aka "Sign in Screen?"?

I've a slide show running for the Lock Screen. Works great.I'd like to change the appearance of the Log In Screen, which is currently a blue colored abstract curvy form. I've read quite a bit on the Internet, but nothing I've tried works. Hopefully, this is not a task requiring editing the Register.

Step 2b is labeled as Change the Login Screen Image, but the steps show you how to change the Lock Screen image. Step 2a is irrelevant. It only tells you how to change the desktop background.

What I want to do:
Set Spotlight as the LOCK Screen Image(s) - Done
Set the Win 10 Hero Image as the SIGN IN Screen Image - This is the one that shows after you click on the lock screen and you are able to type your password. If I uncheck "Show Lock Screen Image on Sign In Screen", it shows a solid blue background behind my Password box and user image. This is what I want to change to the Hero Image....

 

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

 

Change the log in screen

I was under the understanding that my login screen page would change every 10 days or so, however I now have the same screen appearing. I don't really care for that screen and wish it would change but it has been over two weeks.

• Why does the log in screen not change?
• Can I change that screen myself? Of course without allot of technical complications such as changing the registry?
