Windows 10: [Windows 11] How to get rid of Game Input FOR EVER

I'm playing lot of racing games with a wheel, but this stupid "Microsoft Game Input" App, always thinks it's smarter than me. It probably switches to some kind of keyboard mode, when I tab out of the game, but wheels and the games don't like them to be dis- and reconnected. This leads to the Force Feedback and more of the wheel not working anymore, when I tab back in and I have to reselect the wheel in the settings or even restart the game, which is super annoying.Already deleted the App many times, but it seems to automatically reinstall after 1. updates and 2. simple PC restarts. Is there a

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

• What happens when you try to run the game?
  
• Do you use any non-Microsoft anti-virus software?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if the issuer persists:

New User Account

I would also suggest you to create a new user account with administrative rights and check if the issue persists. Creating a new user account will not remove any data, app or settings from your current user account, this is just a troubleshooting step to eliminate the possibility of user profile corruption. Refer this article to create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10

What exactly is your PC model and manufacturer?

If it's a desktop, what exactly is the model and manufacturer of the motherboard?

Are you playing these games through Steam?

If so, I recommend that you try to change the input and output devices on Steam;

Launch Steam;

Open the friends list and click on Settings (upper right corner of the friends list);

Click Voice;

Define input and output devices;

Now check if the microphone works normally in games;
