  2. Can you do a Raid backup from the boot drive which is m.2 NVME SSD to the raid backup drive which is a SATA 3 SSD(2.5")?

Can you do a Raid backup from the boot drive which is m.2 NVME SSD to the raid backup drive which is a SATA 3 SSD(2.5")? They will both be 1tb, but will it work due to one drive being a M.2 NVME and one being a SATA 3 SSD (2.5")? Will be using AMD Ryzen 5 5600g and windows 10 or 11.

Does Windows 11 support system drives in Raid like Windows 10 does? MSI (Intel) Z390 notebook Motherboard

Greg thanks for your great suggestions, especially tomshardware.com. I've been a tomshardware member for years. Also, I was wrong suggesting Windows 11 doesn't support Raid it's actually the newest NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD's that don't support Raid. Since my 2 year old notebook only supports NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD's the Raid obviously wasn't the reason Windows 11 upgrade didn't fully install. My notebook is back to original Windows 10 Pro OS & running great. I think I'll leave well enough alone for now & wait to use Windows 11 when I purchase a new gaming notebook that already comes with it. Thanks again Greg.

Windows 11 how to get to Safe Mode when running a RAID on NVME drives

Windows 11 doesn't support Raid so beware if you try upgrade on PC with system drives in Raid.

Ran Windows 11 health check on my MSI GT76 Titan DT-039 4K UHD notebook running Windows 10 Pro. Notebook easily passed every Windows 11 requirement (all green check marks for entire list of system requirements). Ran the Windows 11 upgrade which completed fine. However it installed a semi functioning but incomplete version of Windows 11 Pro missing all the important Windows management tools (no control panel, no Windows 11 update, no Windows Search, no Windows Start Menu). My notebooks system drive uses 3x 2TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe SSD in Raid0 & that's why Windows 11 didn't install properly. Windows 11 doesn't support Raid. I wound up having to reinstall Windows 10 Pro & simply forget about Windows 11 upgrade per Microsoft Windows highest tier support. Beware if you're Windows 10 PC uses Raid, don't try Windows 11 upgrade or you'll be reinstalling Windows 10 after failed or incomplete upgrade! Microsoft Windows 11 upgrade Health checker should have been designed to detect system drives using Raid to warn Windows 10 users with high end gaming systems that use Raid that it's not supported in Windows 11. Would have saved many days trying to trouble shoot Windows 11 Pro incomplete installation on an otherwise more then capable Windows 10 Pro notebook.
