    Windows 11 - how to go back to digital license after having win 11 365 E3


    I have a laptop which was initially purchased with a Windows 11 Home license.A 365 Windows 10/11 Enterprise E3 license was purchased and applied to the laptop.This 365 Windows 10/11 Enterprise E3 license has recently not been renewed and has expired.The Windows 11 laptop now reports as being 'not activated'.How can I revert the laptop back to the original digital Windows 11 Home license so I can upgrade it via the store to a Pro license?

    Activating Laptops with Windows 11 Enterprise Using Microsoft 365 E3 License

    Trying to activate Win11 laptops which are AD azure Joined and have Win11 Pro licenses. I am signed into the laptop with a user that has a Microsoft 365 E3 license. Office programs correctly use the "Microsoft 365 E3 license" but the laptops are still using Win11 pro licenses for OS activation

    Based on your description, I suggest you subscript Microsoft 365 E3 to meet your requirement, as it includes Office 365 E3 and Windows 10 Enterprise E3 license.

    Windows 11 to 10 downgrade, digital license

    Hello!

    I've tried looking an answer through the forums and microsoft pages but my question still stands.

    Two years ago I bought a prebuilt PC with windows 10 installed. Then I got an automatic upgrade to windows 11 which I need to downgrade back to 10 due to compatibility issues with VR software (more than 2 months have passed). My current windows 11 version is "activated with a digital license" but I haven't connected it with my microsoft account yet.

    What steps should I follow to secure a windows activation after a clean windows 10 installation?

    1. I know that I need to create an installation media for windows. Do I choose "upgrade computer now" or "create an installation media to use on another computer"?
    2. Do I connect my windows 11 current digital license to my microsoft account now or wait until after I install windows 10 again?
