Windows 10: Windows 11; how to prevent KB5026372 from installing

Hello,The recent security update KB5026372 for Windows 11 somewhat breaks L2TP connections. By breaks I mean that KB5026372 reduces throughput over the L2TP connection dramatically, making it unusable. This was determined by uninstalling KB5026372, after which the L2TP connection throughput returned to a useable level.I have paused updates for a week in the hopes that either Microsoft has received other reports about this problem and patches KB5026372 to reflect this or I can figure out a way of blocking this specific update from installing. Can't install KB5026372 - Getting 80070002 error

Windows 11 Version 22H2 won't install update KB5026372 - Getting 80070002 error.

Things I've tried:
Scannow /frc
Checking date and time
Updating chipset / graphics drivers

Downloading and running the offline update

Running the Windows Update Troubleshooter

Nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows Update KB5026372 won't uninstall

I installed latest update KB5026372 on 5/9/23. My internet speed slowed down from 152 Mbps to 76 Kbps. I went through the uninstall process, but before it finished, during the restart it said it is installing updates, and it looks like that update is back. Help! running Win 11 (64 bit)
