Windows 10: Windows 11: How to show open documents individually on taskbar

Hello. After upgrading to windows 11, my productivity is limited by the minimalist approach of the taskbar and having it locked at the bottom of the screen. Documents are hidden within the icon of the program, and requires actively clicking on the icon to show its content before selecting the file. This small delay adds up to a frustrating amount of time. Previously I had the option of showing open documents individually on the taskbar, how do I configure this in Windows 11? Is there a "professional" version of Windows 11 that isn't configured like an iPad, so I can avoid these issues? This

How do you show multiple folders/icons open on the taskbar individually? Windows 11

How do you show individual icons on the taskbar, for instance, when I have three excel spreadsheets open, how do you make the task bar show three excel icons at the same time? Using Windows 11

I know you can click the icon and then select one of the spreadsheets - yes I get that, but I want to view multiple icons in the same app on the taskbar individually.

I used to be able to do this with Windows 10, before upgrading to Windows 11.

 

Taskbar- how to see all open documents and windows at the same time

Just switched to Windows 11 and now my taskbar shows app icons but not the open items. If I want to see individual documents or windows or items, I have to tap on the icon and then it brings up all the open items. How do I set the task bar so I can see all my open documents and windows and whatnot at the same time on the taskbar?

 

How to see list of ALL open documents from taskbar

In Windows 7 when I clicked on the Word icon it would show a vertical list of all open documents. Now when I mouse over the Word icon in the taskbar it shows a horizontal row of thumbnails of the open documents, but if I have more than six or so open I
can't see the rest and see no way to scroll to right or left (not that that would be an ideal solution anyway). Is there a way to go back to the list view??
