    Windows 11 - I keep getting an error when trying to add a Mifare Standard 1K Universal...


    Hi there,I'm having issues trying to add a Mifare Standard 1K Universal Smart Card as a sign in option on Windows 11 Professional. Whenever I proceed to link the Smart Card to Windows Hello, it will prompt me to tap the card on the reader which is successful, then it will ask me to tap the card on the reader again and this time it does not register the tap and then eventually gives an error 'An unexpected event occurred' and the process starts again.I am unsure why this is happening, the smart card should be compatible with Windows Hello.What I'm using:A ACR1252U USB NFC Reader III NFC Forum

    What types of NFC tags does the Lumia 920 support?

    I'm interested in this also for the 920, so I emailed a tag supplier here in the UK. Their response below. I've ordered the 38mm as suggested and will try as soon as they arrive.



    "We have tested Mifare and NFC forum specified tags with the new Nokia’s and they work fine. We had heard rumours that the Nokia’s would not support Mifare, but they do.



    Most people prefer the small, discrete, Mifare Classic 1K 25mm circles, but for true NFC spec we suggest 38mm or 25mm NTAG circles, though these have smaller memory sizes."

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

    Error trying to uninstall universal app

    I am trying to remove a package in windows 10 but receive the following error. I have spent some time searching on the internet but none of them have the same error as me. Please advise.

    This is not a duplicate of Unable to uninstall Universal Apps through PowerShell. The error message is different and my IsInbox already has a default value of 0.

    I requested the log and received this. I still have no idea what is going on.
