I do not have a laptop that needs an override on the power settings. I want the power settings or screensaver settings I set to be what works.

Setting Picture Screensaver for Multiple Screens

To assist you better, I like to know; are you using any third-party screensaver?

If yes I suggest you to change the screensaver to Windows default screensavers and check if it helps.

To set the Screensaver on the extended display, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Right-click on a blank area of your desktop and select “Personalize.”

Step 2: Click “Screen Saver” at the bottom-right corner of the window.

Step 3: Select the desired screen saver from the drop-down menu and indicate a “wait” time in minutes. The screensaver will come on automatically after the computer has been idle for that period of time.

Step 4: Check the “On resume, display logon screen” for added security, if desired. This feature requires you to enter your password when resuming your Windows session.

Step 5: Click “Apply” and then “OK.”

Step 6: Click on the “Display” link at the bottom left.

Step 7: Click “Adjust Resolution” on the left.

Step 8: Choose “Extend these displays” from the Multiple Displays drop-down menu if you’d like a single screensaver to travel across both displays. Click “Duplicate these displays” if you want a duplicated screen
saver to display on each monitor.

Step 9: Click “OK.”

Cannot find the screensaver settings in Next book Ares 10A.

Appreciate your efforts to work on this issue.

I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when the system doesn't work as it should.

A screen saver is an animated image that is activated on a personal computer display when no user activity has been sensed for a certain time. Windows comes with built-in screen savers that you can select.

Suggest you to follow these steps to disable the screen saver on the PC to check if that help.

1. Press ‘Windows key + I’ to open the Settings screen and select the ‘Personalize’ option.
   
2. Select the ‘Lock Screen’ option from the left of the personalization window.
   
3. Scroll down the page and click the ‘Screensaver settings’ text.
   
4. You will see the ‘Screen Saver Settings’ page.
   
5. Click the box with the down-arrow icon and select ‘None option’ to disable screensaver in Windows 10.
   
6. Uncheck the “On resume, display login screen” checkbox.
   
7. Click the Apply and OK button to save these screensaver settings.

Setting Picture Screensaver for Multiple Screens on Windows 10

The screensaver is now under Settings>Personalisation>Lockscreen, scroll down & there’s a text link to the screensaver settings - hopefully once set it’ll show on multiple monitors.

There’s some suggestion the screensaver function is being removed in favour of putting the screen/PC to sleep instead.
