Is Rufus Safe for Downloading Windows 11?

Windows 10 can be upgraded to Windows 11 in a supported or unsupported fashion.

Rufus is not needed.

A bootable flash drive is not needed to upgrade but is needed for a clean install.

And a bootable flash drive can be made with and without Rufus.

Please indicate what problems your having or what you want to accomplish.

a) upgrade windows 10 > 11 in a supported fashion

b) upgrade wndows 10 > 11 in an unsupported fashion

c) clean install Windows 11 on a computer that has supported or unsupported parameters

Hi all, I'm using Windows 10 and I want to download Windows 11 on my laptop. I was searching how to download Win11 without any checks and I found that Rufus can make bootable usb for downloading windows 11 on unsupported couputers. I'm worring if Rufus App (I downloaded on official site) will put virus on my laptop. Is Rufus safe?? Help...
