Windows 10: Windows 11 Install error - 0x80073701

Discus and support Windows 11 Install error - 0x80073701 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I'm trying to install the 2022-07 update for Windows 11.     Windows 11 Install error - 0x80073701


    I'm trying to install the 2022-07 update for Windows 11. Every time I try it gets to 35% the I get the following error message & it tells me to retry. 2022-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems KB5015814. Install error - 0x80073701I'm not a computer expert so any help would be appreciated.TIARick

    Update error 0x80073701

    Running Window 11 Professional.

    I've tried several times, but the latest Windows 11 update
    (KB5014668) keeps failing with error 0x80073701.

    A web site suggested I try clean booting. I tried it. It didn't help.

    So I'm writing to ask if anyone has any suggestions to fix that
    inability to update error 0x80073701 .

    This worked! I had tried doing an In-Place upgrade before the other steps you have included here .. and it also failed. But after turning on BITS and Windows Update via Services ... it has finally worked! There are literally hundreds of websites and youtube videos on how to fix this problem (Windows 11 KB5014697 not installing with error 0x80073701) ... and this finally worked. Thank you JohnDeV!
