Windows 10: Windows 11 Install stuck at 73%

My HP Laptop has been stuck at 73% during the installation process. It states on the black screen "Working on updates 73% Please keep your computer on."At the bottom of the screen, it states "Your computer may restart a few times." It has been like this for about one hour now with the little dotted circle revolving clockwise above the text. What can I do to continue the installation?

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

As per your issue, since the update is stuck at 73%, I would suggest you to run Windows update troubleshooter and check if it helps.



To run Windows update, please follow the steps below:

  Type troubleshooting in the search box and click enter.
  
• 
  Click on system and security.
  
• 
  There you will find an option as windows update. Click on it and run the update.
  

If the issue persists, reset the Windows update components and check.
