Windows 10: Windows 11 install USB not bootable with B660M motherboard

I just built a new PC and am attempting to install windows 11. My motherboard is an ASRock B660M Pro RS and I've flashed the bios to the latest version 12.03. The rest of the hardware is also compatible with Windows 11. I don't have access to another windows PC so I used by Mac to burn the official windows install ISO to a thumb drive and make it bootable with UUByteISOEditor. The homemade thumb drive boots fine, but the install eventually fails because it can't find drivers not clear what drivers it's looking for. I assumed something was wrong with my ISO burn so I purchased the official

Multi-bootable USB

Hey guys from TPU, couldn't find any specific thread pertaining to the question asked on title. As mentioned, I'm trying to create a bootable USB, but with many specifics boots available.

I've been trying to create one with multiple boot device including one that enables me to run Windows 10 directly on the USB Thumb Drive but to no avail.

The list of bootable images i'm trying to create are

1. Windows 10 (A full OS running from thumb drive)
2. Windows 10 ISO (Bootable disk image for fresh install)
3. MemTest86+

Have tried YUMI or UUI from the website USB PenDrive Linux but as this is my first time, i don't know how am i screwing up or am doing it right.. Anyone got a rough idea on a step by step guide? Thanks!

 

Create Windows 11 Bootable USB on Mac with M1 Chip

One thing to note. You need to check the USB drive is functioning well and make sure that Windows 11 iso file you downloaded is from Microsoft website. An damaged Windows ISO file could also cause the USB to not be recognized as a bootable device.



If there is no problem with USB and ISO file, then go with UUByte ISO Editor instead. The above suggestions are free so you can try them first. UUByte ISO Editor is a free trial software but you can get a Windows 11 bootable USB installer in less than 20 minutes. From my past experience, UUByte ISO Editor is even better than Bootcamp and UNetbootin. It has no limitations, just 3 clicks (download, launch and burn) to get a bootable USB drive on your Mac.

Windows 7 x64 usb bootable help???

It really doesn't do just linux distros (though from the explanation you would think so).
