Windows 10: Windows 11 installation failed with errcode 0x800F081E - 0x20003

I tried to update from Windows 10 21H2 to Windows 11 via Windows 11 installation assistant and got this error. PC health check says that this PC is fully compatible. Free space on system drive ~50 GBScreenshotSetupDIag output - https://pastebin.com/i7hwE51HHow do i solve this?

A bit of googling showed a couple of possible causes for the problem, but they don't seem applicable - I'm not using 3rd party antivirus, and C: has sufficient free space (~35Gb free). Any suggestions on a fix?

can this problem be solved by installing new windows? whether the windows activation code is the same as that listed in the windows explorer-this pc- properties, at the bottom.
