Windows 10: Windows 11 Installation fails with Error Code 0xc0000005

Hi,I'm installing Windows 11 on my computer. Some notes:This computer previously had Windows 11 installed successfully on itI downloaded the Windows 11 ISO from the official Windows download site During installation, I get the following error:Windows installation encountered an unexpected error. Verify that the installation sources are accessible, and restart the installation.0xc0000005Here's everything I have tried in various combinations:Multiple different USB drivesReset BIOS settings to defaultsUpdated BIOS firmwareDisabled Secure Boot also tried with Secure Boot enabledDisabled Compat

Windows 10, 2004 update fails on appraiser.dll with error code 0xC0000005

I tried to install Windows 2004, and I get the error code 0xC0000005. Looking at the logs from the installation in the Panther directory, I see the following:

Exception (code 0xC0000005: ACCESS_VIOLATION) occurred at 0x00007FFEA182D8C1 in C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\appraiser.dll

I was able to read the dump file for this error, and I see the check failing on this step:

NULL_POINTER_READ_c0000005_appraiser.dll!BiSpacesUpdatePhysicalDevicePath
Any help would be appreciated

3. whether it is installed under the Bootcamp partition?
