  1. Windows 11 installation on unsupported devices via bypassing requirement checks

There are workstations running Windows 10 on Dell PCs i.e. OptiPlex 7040.However, the PCs have an unsupported processor for Windows 11 i.e. IntelR CoreTM i7-6700 CPU.The idea is to freshly install Windows-11 on them i.e. not perform in place upgrade from Win-10 to 11.I understand that by making Registry changes to bypass the requirement checks I can install Win-11 and have done it successfully already. My concern is that in the future, Microsoft might release Windows-11 Update and that “might” render the workstation unusable.I am seeking the community’s opinion here. Should I replace all

  2. How do you bypass the windows 11 system requirements?

Most computers running Windows 10 can upgrade to Windows 11 in a supported or unsupported fashion.

Unsupported upgrades may not benefit from the improvements in performance, reliability and security.

And there may be problems with Windows updates.

There is a default 10 day go back period.

The default go back period can be modified to 60 days.

The go back option can fail.

It's best to make free backup images and save the images to another disk drive or the cloud.

Before upgrading to Windows 11 in an unsupported fashion make sure that you make free or pay backup images and save the images to another disk drive or the cloud.

  4. Windows 11 installation on unsupported devices via bypassing requirement checks

I'm already on Windows 11, and yet my PC "does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11"

Most computers running Windows 10 can run Windows 11 in a supported or unsupported fashion.

There are multiple methods to bypass the supported requirements.

The computer's Intel CPU (i7-6700HQ) was compared to the Windows 11 Intel supported list.

It was not seen on the list.
