Windows 10: Windows 11 Internet Security Zones 'Custom' button greyed out

I am trying to change my Security settings for CCTV - to enable Active X. I am logged in as the Administrator, but the Custom option is greyed out. I have no idea how to enable it. Can someone help me?Please explain as though you would to a five year old Thanks

It sounds like the Customs button under Security Zone of your Internet Properties greyed out. If I understand you correctly, the reason you are doing this is to customize the site permissions. (If there is a deviation in my understanding, please correct me at any time.)

If so, it is advised to go to Edge > Settings > Cookies and site data > Site permissions to manage, since the settings of Zone section under Security does not work.

Yes, now I understand. But the Site permissions under Cookies and site data in Edge actually plays same roll as the Security Zone in Internet Properties.

Meanwhile, the reason the custom button grayed out could be that your current account has no permissions.

You may create a local administrator account to see if the button get activated.

Keep me posted how it goes.

I recently got a new computer with Windows 11 Pro installed on it. It seems the custom settings option for the Security Zones is not available. Do you know what could solve this problem?
