Windows 11 is mixing up account settings between users e.g. desktop backgrounds

I recently bought a new Asus zenbook laptop, which upgraded itself to Windows 11 pretty much immediately when I first booted it.I find that the three users who have logged into that machine seem to get mixed up - we keep ending up with the desktop background from another user, and MS Teams thought I was part of one of the teams that one of the other users is part of.Any idea how to keep the accounts separate? I've not seen this happen with Windows 11 on a different laptop with the same users logged in, so maybe it's specific to the hardware.Edition Windows 11 HomeVersion 21H2Installed on ‎01/‎

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Task menu background transparency

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

    Apologize for delay in reply.

As a workaround, I suggest you to change the desktop background/ remove the desktop background and check.

I suggest you to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
    • Select Add an Account.
    • Enter a user name and hit Next.
    • Click on Finish.
    • Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    • Check if issue persists.

Please reply to us with the status of the issue.

    Thanks.
