Windows 10: Windows 11 is not detecting HDD

Discus and support Windows 11 is not detecting HDD in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I installed new sata hard drive, Windows 11 is not detecting it.     Windows 11 is not detecting HDD


    I installed new sata hard drive, Windows 11 is not detecting it. I can't see it in diskpart or disc manager. It is visible in BIOS and also in Linux from usb boot drive. It was detected when I used external sata to usb converter but I need it as internal drive.What I need to do to be able to use it?

    Windows 11 cannot detect my second monitor. Help. I did all the suggested troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work.

    unlock hdd

    Hi Johan,

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
    causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:


    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

    If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

    Update us on how it goes.
