Windows 10: Windows 11 is not recognizing USB mass memory

I am running Windows 11 Pro version 23H2 build 22631.3672.When I connect a USB device two different USB keys and also my phone I am not hearing the usual "ding", and I am also not seeing any of the devices in the File Explorer, nor in the disk manager utility. I also am not seeing any unrecognized device in the device manager utility. However, when I turn off my PC, I can hear the "ding" that I should hear when a device is connectedMy mouse, keyboard and controller are working correctly they are all connected to my PC via USB.How can I fix this?

Just had this problem recently, a cmos clear corrected it. One item you can check to see is if the bios recognizes anything by loading its "boot from" menu and checking for any USB mass storage listed.

I suggest you to run hardware troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue. It will automatically detect the problem and fix it.

  Right click on the device under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers node related to mass storage device and
