Windows 10: Windows 11 is showing incorrect timezone

I have a new laptop with Windows 11 on it. After setting it up, I noticed that the clock in the bottom right is wrong. The below screenshot is from a few minutes ago. According to Windows, my timezone is about 9 hours later than it actually is.What could be the cause of this? Thank you

Taken me a year to fix this, but finally today I did it.

Option 1 worked for my PC and option 2 worked for my Laptop.

Laptop was windows 11.

I had to enable Group Policy Editor using this websites information, it was easy, just follow the steps.

Basically had to add "USERS" to the list of authorised groups who are allowed to change the times and timezones.

You probably already have, but did you check all of these? NIST is one of the choices for time server, you don't need a separate program. Also here:

 

Windows location and timezone incorrect

We have an office of about 40 users and more than half of these are reporting their location and timezone as Brussels. We are located in Perth, Western Australia. So this is a very large shift in location. If we disable the WIFI adapters the location almost immediately corrects itself. This is disabling the adapter, not just disconnecting from wifi. If the adapter is enabled and wifi disconnected it will revert to Brussels.

Is there a database that Microsoft keeps somewhere with WIFI SSID's and their location and, how do we get this updated to correct the location. Or, is there a way to stop windows from getting the location from WIFI. The timezone being incorrect is a major issue.
