Windows 10: Windows 11 is stuck undoing changes

I have already googled for an answer to this this and got nowhere. I have an Asus laptop with Windows 11 installed. I got a notification for an update and went to install it. It got to about 11 percent when my laptop restarted and that took about an hour and a half and then I got message on the bottom of a black screen saying "Undoing changes made to your computer." And it's been stuck there for ages. I have tried all the function keys, I have tried pressing shift and other keys, tried forcing my computer to shut down over and over again to get to automatic repair, NOTHING works. It will con

Stuck on undoing changes after windows reset

Hi,

My pc is stuck on "undoing Changes"

after trying to reset it. It was completed about 45% and after that it started showing me this message "undoing Changes" and is stuck on it for more than half hour. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

 

Stuck on undoing changes

I tried to update my hp laptop and now its stuck on "undoing changes made to your computer" it only responds to me pressing and hold the power button but when it turns back on, itll just go back to this window. It was just updating windows 10.

Thank you very much for responding.

I've done the steps you suggested.

starting from the windows update troubleshooter.

and then download the tools for resetting the windows update component along with the steps on the forum.

and try to check and install all updates available.

and the last one tried to install again with windows 11 update assistant and still stuck on a black screen (like restarting but didn't come back during the installation process) only the power button worked and when clicked again undoing changes.

still don't know the root of the problem
