Windows 10: Windows 11 issues with audio and DDR5 machine

Heya. Currently working for a customer and they seem to have an odd issue with their 11 version. They seem to be having issues with the audio distorting with any type of headphones. USB or aux. It seems to work fine on 10 and all the drviers have been modified and made sure they are upto date.It is a DDR5 machine with a Ryzen 7 7000 series and a NVidia 3070 RTX. The board is a Gigabyte Gaming B650 XAX. Issue seems to occur after a while, even on a fresh install. Tried updating and not updating the drivers. Windows 10 works, 11 doesn't.If anybody knows anything about this, please gimme a shout

Audio 'dip' issue with Windows 10

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.
