Windows 10: Windows 11 KB5018546 .net update won't install and probably blocking the 22H2 update from...

I have two identical computers, one at the office and one at home Dell Precision 3630 workstations. The home PC was updated to Win 11 pro 22H2 update yesterday without problem. The one at the office gives me an Error 0x80073712 when it tries to load the KB5018546 update. The earlier one from last month completed successfully. I searched online and found a couple of things to try and they have not cleared the issue. I tried the command prompt running of the DISM restorehealth and sfc / scannow. the sfc did find and correct some corrupt files a few days ago. I ran it again today and

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

I had read that. However the problem MS is addressing there is when the update client files of the pc don't recognise that the pc is not updated and hence don't download the updates. My updates download fine. In fact I'm even getting downloaded updates which I do not need (win2000, vista, server...) The problem is getting the correct updates installed...

For example, I'm getting KB933729 in my list. That's for Vista!
