    Windows 11 keep crashing, with "Error setting traits on Provider" error found on event viewer


    Hi everyone, it's been couple of weeks that I'm experiencing random crashes on my pc. The computer will turn to BS after a random period. After the reboot the system is up an running normally as nothing happened. As I said they are completely random, it can crash after 2 days as it can crash earlier or later.The Event Manager at the reboot time has the following errors:Error setting traits on Provider {77811378-e885-4ac2-a580-bc86e4f1bc93}. Error: 0xC0000005.Several minidump has been created under C:\minidump, the crash happened 5 times already within 24 hours, need some help on this.

    Thanks for the heads-up. Even being aware that many, if not most errors in Event Viewer can be ignored or will be fixed on their own, when debugging one invariably gets caught up in determining what may indeed be so dismissed. Oh, well.

    Hi, I'm having an error in the event viewer "Error setting traits on Provider {8444a4fb-d8d3-4f38-84f8-89960a1ef12f}. Error: 0xC0000001" and all my USB except my keyboard freeze for a few seconds before restarting.
    I've reinstalled my GPU driver and check all my USB drivers as well.
