Windows 10: Windows 11 keeping adding unwanted keyboard to my PC

Hello,Each time I restart my PC, Windows adds a keyboard to the list without asking it to me. It is really annoying because when I do Windows+space it's confusing.Moreover, if I want to delete the extra keyboard, I need to ADD it myself, before deleting it...Here are my layouts. I have a laptot with a Japanese keyboard and I am using my system in British English; but since I'm French, I am typing with a French AZERTY USB-keyboard. Then my layouts are English United Kingdom French and Japanese Microsoft IME. But Windows add all the time the English United Kingdom Japanese, that I don't want

Windows keeps adding languages to my keyboard.

In this scenario, we would suggest you to perform these methods and check if that helps.



Method 1: Registry change.

1. Press Windows + R key to launch the
   Run command.
   
2. Type regedit and click on
   Ok.
   
3. Navigate to this location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Keyboard Layout\Preload
   
4. Now from right pane remove/delete the entries with data value
   00000409, 00000809 & 00000407
   
5. Close the registry, restart the PC and check.

Note: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify
the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

Method 2: New user account

Check in new user account. Follow the steps from the article

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10 to create a new user account and check if you are facing the same issue with the keyboard language.

Suggest you to plug in an external keyboard to check if that helps.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

• 
  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.
  
• 
  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.
