Windows 10: Windows 11 keeps asking to restart after installing Update Version 23H2

I have tried to install Windows 11, version 23H2 update on my DELL desktop. It keeps on asking to restart to finish the update. After 2 restart I looked at the internet and found this page https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-11-keeps-asking-to-restart-after/5c9930ff-efab-411d-9bf3-bc0c56103a3dI did everything on this page. It still continue to ask for restart.

Windows 11 keeps asking to restart after installing Update Version 23H2

I have Windows 11.



I installed: 2023-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5033375) but my machine was not stable and kept going to debugging mode. I had to do a restore point to a couple of days earlier.



Since then I keep getting the following message:



2023-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5033375) --Pending restart



I have restarted machine many times but it keeps asking to restart.



What should I do?

Cannot install Windows 11 23H2

The build number 22631.2506 implies the device has been upgraded to 23H2 already.

Here are the version/build numbers for Windows 11.

• 22000.xxx is 21H2
  
• 22621.xxx is 22H2
  
• 22631.xxx is 23H2
