Windows 11 keeps BSOD cant find the source of the issue.

About two weeks ago my PC started to BSOD, I have tried installing new drivers, stress testing CPU GPU memory, verified all disks are functioning normally. However after all this I am still unable to find the source of the BSOD so I am reaching out for help. At first i got multiple types of bluescreen however it seems that some of the steps i have taken have limited it to a single BSOD regarding the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.System:I7 8700KRTX 307032GB RAMMINIdump fileWindows 11 keeps BSOD cant find the source of the issue. :DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION 133The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVELor above.Arguments:

  2. Unexpected kernel mode trap BSOD Windows 11

    Hi Rachman,

I hope you're doing well. I wanted to suggest a few steps to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issues you're experiencing with your PC.

    1. Check Your RAM:
      • Open the Run dialog by pressing Win + R.
      • Type MRT.exe and press Enter.
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to perform a thorough scan of your system's RAM.
    2. Update All Drivers:
      • Keeping your drivers up to date is crucial for system stability and performance.
      • I recommend using IOBit's Driver Booster (free version) to simplify the process:
        • Download and install IOBit's Driver Booster.
        • Run the program and follow the prompts to scan your system for outdated drivers.
        • Update all the drivers it identifies as needing updates.
When you encounter a BSOD, it's essential to take note of the specific error message displayed on your screen. This message is usually located to the left side of the QR code on the BSOD screen. Providing the exact error code will help in diagnosing the root cause of the issue more effectively.

Please follow these steps and let me know if you need any further assistance. By checking your RAM and updating your drivers, we can hopefully resolve the BSOD errors and improve your system's performance.

    Best regards,

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Windows 11 Laptop Keeps BSOD (seemingly only when unplugged)

Hi, thanks for that information, as per checking there is a new error Cng.sys, this is actually a Windows file, however, it can have an error when there are drivers or hardware that is defective, in this case since you have done system repair and the issue persist, I suggest to run a custom installation to fix the issue, however, the process will delete all apps but will retain all files on the PC, if you are okay with that, you may follow the steps provided below:

On the Windows 11 ISO you downloaded, kindly right-click on ISO then click Mount> Click Sources folder>then look for Setup.exe inside the sources folder

Then follow the second picture to the last from this link:

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware related issues.
