Windows 10: Windows 11 keyboard function and highlighting everything randomly

Hi, I have a Lenovo Slim 7 with Windows 11. The computer is new and has very few things on it. My problem is that it will randomly highlight sections on the screen, and the keyboard will switch key functions. Ex All letters turn to caps and if I hit the caps button on, the letters are small. If I hit the tab button, selected links and tabs reverse order. Is this a known Windows 11 issue? I never had this problem before and it happens way too often. I have tried reinstalling the keyboard and touchpad drives under device manager but that doesn't work. I have found that hitting tab, shift+tab a f

Custom Keyboard Layouts in Windows 11

A wonderful day everyone,

Previously I have used the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator to create custom keyboard layouts, however not only is Windows 11 not listed as a supported operating system, but I cannot use the installed keyboards as they get shrugged off as "Unavailable input method" and are also unselectable as they break the taskbar language button in strange ways.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how one can create a functioning keyboard layout for Windows 11? It'd be much appreciated.

May I suggest an addition to the keyboard (and mouse) reviews?
Since software for these is quite often abysmal and without exception it doesn't work on Linux, would it be possible to highlight which models come with internal memory to save your settings? I would go as far as listing this as a pro, but ymmv.

I mean, I love that I can program my mouse once and then forget about the software. When I boot to Linux, most of the functionality is still there, the led stays off...

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the driver

I suggest you to try uninstall the keyboard drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to uninstall the keyboard drivers:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Right-click on the keyboard device listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.
• Select the option to Delete driver software.
• Restart the computer after its uninstalled.

Try to access the device manufacturer's website and download and install the latest chipset and keyboard drivers.
