Windows 10: Windows 11 Keyboard Layout Issue Between User Accounts

Hello everyone,I'm experiencing an annoying keyboard layout problem with our shared Windows 11 desktop computer. Here's the situation:We have two computers running Windows 11: a desktop with a Spanish physical keyboard and a laptop with a Swiss physical keyboardTwo users share both computersI use Spanish as my language and Spanish keyboard layoutThe other user uses French as their language with French keyboard layoutWe have separate user accounts on both computersThe problem occurs ONLY on the desktop computer not on the laptopWhen the French user logs in first on the desktop and then I log

Custom Keyboard Layouts in Windows 11

A wonderful day everyone,

Previously I have used the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator to create custom keyboard layouts, however not only is Windows 11 not listed as a supported operating system, but I cannot use the installed keyboards as they get shrugged off as "Unavailable input method" and are also unselectable as they break the taskbar language button in strange ways.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how one can create a functioning keyboard layout for Windows 11? It'd be much appreciated.

This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

(The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

I suggest you to Turn off the Language preference and Ease of access Sync settings and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below and check if it helps:
