Windows 10: Windows 11 laggy Will lag go off when I upgrade 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM?

Hello, everyone, especially Carlo TJ, I'm in windows 11 it's not that laggy but it is, I'm using 4GB RAM But if I use 8GB RAM for my pc will this lag go off and more responsive?

I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

• I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
• physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it

Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?

Does windows 11 perform well with 4GB RAM?

Having more RAM would improve your performance.

You may upgrade if you have 4GB of RAM and it might work and according to the Windows 11 requirement 4GB of RAM is supported, take a look at Windows 11 System Requirements (microsoft.com).

However, in case you are able to upgrade to 8GB of RAM, it is recommended to do so.

 

Compare performance between 12gb ram (8gb + 4gb) and 8gb ram (4gb x 2)

The more RAM you have the bester your PC will perform, so, 12GB of RAM will be better than 8GB of RAM, so 4GB + 8GB will be better than 4GB + 4GB for performance.
