Windows 10: Windows 11 LAN ethernet "Connecting, action needed' issue

Hello AllHoping someone can help. We have started looking in to updating our windows 10 fleet to windows 11 22H2 and have run in to an issue. We are finding that each laptop we have tested updates without an issue but when they are connected to the LAN by network cable, rather than automatically connecting to the domain it show a generic network name with the line 'Connecting, Action needed'.when we click on it we get a 'sign in' button where the user enters their domain username and password after which the network 'name' shows correctly and says Connected, signed in.We were wondering if anyo

Windows 10 Ethernet connection randomly disconnects

Hello,

So this issue has been annoying me since i have changed my old i5-4670 with a ryzen.

Ethernet: Realtek 8111H (MSI X370 Gaming Plus)
Modem/Router: Airties Air 5760

What i have tried so far to fix my issue:

• Re-installing Windows
• Updating Ryzen chipset drivers
• Updating Realtek LAN drivers (both from MSI & Realtek)
• Updating MSI' LAN releated drivers (MSI Gaming Lan Manager)
• Replacing ethernet cable
• Restarting router to factory settings

Still no luck, keeps happening randomly. Sometimes it is stable for days then it is not stable for 20 mins. Happening when gaming or idle, or while streaming via steam link.
Windows' own issue fixer thingy fix the issue for the moment, re-plugging the cable, disabling & enabling the ethernet adapter also fixes the issue for the moment.
Also i am the only one having this issue in the network, TV and phones are still connected to wifi.

It is started to be real annoying, so time to get help to fix the issue from TPU. Thanks in advance! *I Love TPU :lovetpu:

 

Ethernet connection issues

This issue might happen if the power saver option is set.

I suggest you to follow the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows Key + X key and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network Adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Network Adapter listed and click on
  Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Power Management tab.
  
• 
  Uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box and click on
  Ok.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Ethernet LAN connection not working

I am having a problem with my LAN connections and file sharing between my desktop connected via Ethernet and laptop connected by WiFi.

Specifically:

• My connection is through a Linksys E1200 wireless router.
• The desktop is connected via Ethernet and can see printers connected to the router, and can access the internet, but cannot see or access the laptop or its shared files.
• The laptop is connected via WiFi and can see connected printers, devices such as smartphones, the internet and the desktop.
• The network is configured as a private network, and both computers have network discovery and file sharing enabled.
• I ran the network adapter troubleshooter on the desktop and got the following diagnostics:

I connected the laptop via Ethernet and the desktop still could not see it. I have flushed the DNS several times, Done the TCP/IP reset process, unplugged the router with the desktop connected and disconnected.

Any help resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.
