Windows 10: Windows 11 laptop not able to connect to Windows 10 USB connected printer

I recently purchased a Windows 10 laptop. It was upgraded to Win11 during the setup process. I also have a Win10 desktop with a Brother HL-L2350DW printer attached via USB cable. The printer is shared over a home network. The Win11 device can see the printer but is unable to connect to the Win10 printer manual install/connect shared printer by name.The Win11 device is able to connect to and print to a wireless printer on the network.I’m able to browse to the Win10 connected printer from the Win11 device and select the printer during the "add Printer" process name not manually entered.When

Trying to connect printer on network

I have a USB printer connected directly to my Windows 10 laptop. I would like to share this printer with a Windows 11 laptop. The Win 10 laptop is connected to the network via Ethernet; the Win 11 laptop is connected via WiFi. How can I make the printer connected to the Win 10 laptop available to the Win 11 laptop through WiFi?

Have you tried the suggestions on my initial post, in response to the original poster? If you haven't performed any troubleshooting yet, here are a couple of things you can try:

• Power off, and then power on your printer to restart it. Wait for a while for it to be fully ready.
• Check your printer connection. Check your printer and make sure that it’s connected to your PC network.

If the steps didn't help, you may go through this list of suggestions to fix printer connection in Windows 10.
