    Windows 11 laptop running Hyper-v with Windows 7.


    Hi, I am running Windows 11 Pro and Hyper-V With Windows 7 on a Laptop that has only WI-Fi connection No ethernet cable plug so No physical cable. I cannot get Win7 access to the network. I have successfully done this on a PC with an physical ethernet connection. Do I need to use a USB WiFi link device? Thank you in advance for your reply.

    Hyper-V on Windows 11 Question

    For various reasons, it is imperative that I be able to write and maintain code for Foxpro v2.6 for DOS applications.

    I currently dual-boot my Windows 10 x64 Pro desktop with Windows 7 x32 bit. After disabling my nVidia Titan GPU, the Windows 7 environment is perfect for my needs.

    As fate would have it, my current desktop is too ancient to meet the minimum qualifications for Windows 11, so I will, eventually, need to move to newer hardware.

    However, I have a laptop that successfully upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. It, seemingly, meets all the Windows 11 Hyper-V requirements.



    My question is, can Hyper-V on the laptop, with Windows 7 x32 bit, create a similar environment for my Foxpro v2.6 for DOS?

    If so, where might I find some resources on how to accomplish that. I have no experience whatsoever with virtual machine environment(s).

    If not feasible/possible with Hyper-V, what alternative(s) would you suggest?

    Hyper-V cannot run Windows 11

    Hyper-V does not seem to turn off in Windows 11 home. VirtualBox reports the green turtle, Hypet-V in use after deselecting all Hyper-v radio boxes and running appropriate commands in cmd and ps.
