Windows 10: Windows 11: Laptop screen freezing at "Preparing Automatic Repairs" or at the startup screen

Hello, can anybody help me with this problem? Earlier, I was playing a game when I decided to take a rest and play later. When I booted up my laptop again, it froze and requested to restart so that it can automatically repair the error, so I did. But now the screen keeps on freezing in "preparing automatic repair" or if i reboot it, sometimes on the startup screen. Note that I am completely new to laptop gaming and do not know the intricacies of the hardware. I use an ASUS TUF GAMING A15, and I usually leave the charger plugged onto the laptop as I see many people doing this without anything u

Windows 10 Logo Screen Freeze / Preparing for Automatic Repair

After several restarts Windows began to diagnose the problem, rather than freezing at the Preparing Automatic Repair screen. I repaired the startup files and it seems to be working now.

 

How do I get into my laptop 'preparing automatic repair'.

Stop code: BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO

My laptop is freezing on the loading screen with 'preparing automatic repair' and I cannot get into it. All I can do is restart the laptop, and it gives me the stop code listed above. It then returns to the 'preparing automatic repair' screen and nothing happens.

 

Black Screen after "preparing automatic repair"

Yesterday, my HP Envy 17 j177nr was working flawlessly. However, today I was experiencing lots of lags and freezes to the point where the laptop is unusable

I decided to power off and on three times to attempt some kind of repair. However, after it says "preparing automatic repair" I ALWAYS get a black screen, no cursor, no nothing. It does NOT move beyond that black screen. It will stay at that black screen all day if I let it.

I tried ALL steps on the internet to fix it, including removing all peripherals including the power cord and battery and holding the power button for 30 second which everybody says that fixes the problem—except it DOES NOT for me. It still goes into "preparing automatic repair" and to that black screen afterwards.

I ran the HP HDD and memory test and all pass with flying colors.

Does anybody know how to fix this?
