Windows 10: Windows 11 laptop stuck on preparing automatic repair

Hello,I have an HP Spectre x360 Convertible laptop running Windows 11. I tried to turn it on today and saw an "operating system did not shut down cleanly" screen followed by a "preparing automatic repair" message under the hp logo screen with a spinning wheel, and then the laptop shuts down black screen.I've tried hitting the f11 key, f8 key, f8 with shift key as soon as I press the power button. Pressing f8 makes the computer shut off immediately with the screen staying completely black. Pressing f11 briefly shows a line about recovery mode, then shows the preparing automatic repair line an

Preparing Automatic Repair

My son's Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL has been stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" for over a week now. I can't followed any steps listed for remedying it because the computer doesn't respond to any instructions, like holding F8 or even booting from a USB, at all. Has anyone ideas or it's time to discard this 5-year old laptop?

My Windows 11 machine (Lenovo Ideapad) is stuck in "preparing automatic repair." I tried the trick to restart 3 times, but I also get a bluescreen error as it tries to restart: 0XC0000219.

Startup repair is not able to fix it.

Hello

My Lenovo laptop has the dreaded stuck in preparing automatic repair loop

It doesn't get past this.

I have tried holding the power key 3 times but windows repair never starts.

I have tried with a USB installation but I get the windows symbol which go's off to a black screen, then nothing.

Can anyone suggest anything else?

I read through numerous forum issues with the same problem and nothing seems to work for me.
