    Hello.1. We bought a laptop on Amazon in November with Windows 11 already installed.A few months later, a note began to appear that the license was about to expire. Also, because of this problem, it was not possible to install updates that Windows offered. We were also able to see such a window, which says that there are not enough files in the storage attached a black screen – Photo 1.At the moment, the following window appears in the Windows settings screenshot 2.2.     My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you.

    Windows 11 is a free upgrade, there is no announcement yet from Microsoft if they are going to sell Windows 11 licenses, what I can suggest is for you to purchase Windows 10 and perform free upgrade.

    License Transfer question


    So I found this on the MS website.

    Add Windows 8.1 Pro Pack or Windows 8.1 Media Center Pack to your edition of Windows 8.1

    • Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
      (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.)
    • Enter add features in the search box, and then tap or click Settings.
    • Tap or click Add features to Windows 8.1 and then do one of the following:
      • If you need to purchase a product key, tap or click I want to buy a product key online.
        Follow the steps to purchase and enter a product key.
      • If you already have a product key, tap or click I already have a product key.
    • Enter your product key and click Next.
    • Read the license terms, select the check box to accept the license terms, and then click Add features.


      Would this be the way to do it? And would it matter that this would be the US version and not UK?

    License Question

    The description for my Windows 10 Home license is OEM_COA_NSLP ..

    My question is will I be able to transfer this license in the future onto another motherboard/ HDD if anything was to happen to my current motherboard/ HDD?

    I understand that SLP is non-transferable but there is no information regarding NSLP licenses ..
