Windows 10: Windows 11 light mode based themes broken after recent update

My light mode theme is broken after windows 11 update:2023-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5022303I tried uninstalling the update, but that did not resolve the situation.I previously a similar issue when I first moved from windows 10 to 11 and opened a ticket which was resolved by going into the legacy theme manager and selecting light mode there by executing this on the run command:shell:::{ED834ED6-4B5A-4bfe-8F11-A626DCB6A921}This no longer works and has no affect. The issue isn't quite identical, the 1st time around the try icons were all invisibl

The answer below of going into legacy themes resolved the issue, but after the most recent Windows 11 upgrade:

The problem is back where may colors do not render properly, now legacy windows theme does not resolve the situation anymore.

 

is there an official Dark Mode/Theme for WIndows 10

Change Default App & Windows Mode to Light or Dark Theme in Windows 10

Changing the Theme for File Explorer to Light Theme

I understand your concern related to changing the File Explorer theme from Dark to Light.



You can follow the suggestions mentioned below to change the theme to Light.

1. Press Windows + I keys together to open
   Settings.
   
2. Now click on Personalization
   
3. At the left hand pane select Colors
   
4. Now on the right hand side under Choose your color select the drop down to
   Light
