Windows 10: Windows 11 & Location my files are saved

Hello,I just bought a new Laptop with Windows 11 loaded on it.I am a bit confused concerning where my files get saved. Where is the default place where the files get saved? Is it on the ONE Drive?Is there automatically a copy of my folders and files on the C Drive?If I go to C:/Users/MyName/Documents , the Documents folder is empty But if I go to C:/Users/One Drive , it contains folders: Desktop, Documents, Pictures, and a Shortcut to Person Vault.This Documents file contains all of my files and folders. Is this on my C Drive? If so, do my files get saved here first and then get synced to

Making HDD as default saving location instead of sdd for files

I suggest you to try the following steps to change default saving locations. Check if it helps.

  Click on Start and click on
  Settings.
  
• 
  Open System and click on
  Storage in the left-pane.
  
• 
  Under the section Save Locations in the
  right-pane, select the appropriate location to which you want to save files.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if it helps.

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

  How are you accessing emails through web browser or through a mail client (mail app, outlook 2010/2013)?

  Are you trying to save the email attached file? Please elaborate.
  

If you are using Outlook email, let’s try simple steps and check if it helps. Try the below steps provided.

Step 1.

If you want to save only the attached file from the email, try the below step.

• 
  Right click on the attached file and click on Save as.
  
• 
  Now select a folder location where you want to save the attached file.
  

Step 2.

If you want to save the file along with the email try the below steps provided.

• 
  Open the mail you want to save and click on File on the top of the right side.
  
• 
  Click on Save As and select a folder location where you want to save the email.
