Windows 10: Windows 11 Login PIN Number not working - Take 2

Hi EveryoneI hope you had a wonderful Christmas and here in Perth Australia its over 30degsC today.I have the exact same problem as this one which was never resolved and thread closed.https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-11-login-pin-number-not-working/940adf48-b602-4ef4-88b5-addef679111bI have repeatedly tried to set a new Pin.All I ever get is "Something went wrong and your PIN isnt available code: 0x80090027. Restart your device ...."The Pin seems to be the key to getting HELLO to log me in via camera but the PIN doesnt work.I can only log in via Password.Does any

Windows 11 Login PIN Number not working.

Hi Support,

I am using Windows 11 Professional Operating System.

I have use to login in two ways. One through pasword and another option through PIN number.

Using password, Iam ablw to login into Windows 11 and there is no issue.

When i use PIN number, it is not accepting and not able to login into Windows 11.

I have changed the PIN number and also tried but still have the issue to login through PIN.

Thanks for your immediate reply.

The PIN number was working fine and we are getting the issue from yesterday onwards.

Since PIN number is not working,we have changed the PIN number as already option are available as change PIN.

After changing the PIN, and we have tried to login with new PIN number,it is not accepting.

I want to know shall we try once again with the option of Change PIN.

If we are changing the PIN number,it is asking Microsoft email account. Last time, also we did the same by giving the email id to change the PIN and changed the PIN number accepted successfully.

After changed the PIN number,it is not accepting.

I don't know what is the alternate option to login with PIN number.

Windows 11 needs PIN - lost PIN & Password - Help!

To reset a forgotten PIN code, please complete these steps: (Require your phone number.)

Step 1: On the Windows 11 login screen, click “I forgot my PIN” under the PIN password box.

Step 2: Enter your user account password and then click “Sign in”.

Step 3: you need to verify your identity, choose a way to receive code and continue.

Step 4: If you choose your phone number, enter the last 4 digits of the phone number. Then click “Send code”.

Step 5: You will receive a code in seconds. Type in your received code and then click “Verify”.

Step 6: Select “Continue”.

Step 7: Type in a new PIN and type it again to confirm. Then click “OK”. The new PIN password is working now.
