Windows 10: Windows 11 login screen asks for password. But there is one caveat

I added my outlook account to new Windows 11 laptop. It synchronized with Edge.Then I want to completely unlink my account from the PC.In the UWP setting app I removed it, so there was only local account.However, Edge still had outlook account linked. I removed it, but still, Edge had login option to my outlook account, in the Edge account settings, and I can't remove that.This problem was described in this questionI followed steps, provided by user Hahn - MSFT, in particular I ran netplwiz command, there was only my local account, but I could not delete it, but I could rename it, and I rename

is there anyway to stop windows going into the login screen wen i boot up and leave my pc for more then 10mins?i have no password set and im the only user!!

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

Unknown user account at windows 10 login screen

I have the same issue but I have 11 users and now on the log in screen I have 11 user names and 11 of the "password" with the "key" next to them. So, that's 22 logins on the lock screen. The "password" logins are actually the users. I am trying to get rid
of the "password" tabs so only my user names show on the login screen. I checked for the registry folder you mentioned and it is not in the list.

Any other suggestions?
