Windows 10: Windows 11 Mail App Not Displaying Message Bodies for all emails

some of my emails display HTML code when I display them on the Win11 Mail app, this happens on only 1 of my 3 email accounts on this pcI have tried the following:- removed the one email account and re-added it- ran mail troubleshooting/repair- uninstalled the Mail/Calendar app and reinstalled itall did not solve my problem

Windows 10 Mail App Not Displaying Message Bodies

I recently posted a question because I was seeing lots of HTML code in the email message body when viewed in the preview pane. Since the app updated, this problem has gone but, unfortunately, so have the message bodies.

When I click on an email in the left column, the preview pane opens showing sender and subject and with the option to "Download message and pictures". I click that option and a series of dots run across the top as if a download is taking place but nothing
else happens. The preview box still displays just the sender and subject.

Ideally I would like the messages to download automatically as they do in Windows Live Mail but currently I get nothing at all.

 

Windows 10 Mail not displaying body of emails

I used to use the windows mail app for 8.1 and windows 10, and just recently it stopped displaying the body of emails.

Emails I once had before and was able to see the body of aren't displaying the bodies anymore and it's very frustrating.

I have screenshotted my main email account and have an email selected that once had much content, but now I'm unable to see it. I have blacked out a few personal emails. You can see the beginning of what the body is supposed to be displaying under the selected
message, but you cannot see it where the body is supposed to be displayed.

I also tried to send an email to myself through a different account and I haven't received it within 30 minutes to an hour.

Does anyone know how to possibly fix this?
