Windows 10: Windows 11 - Maximum resolution limited to 1920x1080 when connecting two monitors over USBC

Hello,I'm currently facing an issue when using a two-monitor display using a USB C hub, where the display is limited to only 1920x1080 when two monitors are plugged into the hub. Hardware:Laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad T490, Windows 11, Intel UHD Graphics 620. Hello,

Since upgrading from WIN 7 Ultimate to WIN 10, my Samsung P2770HD monitor capable of 1920x1080 resolution is limited by WIN 10 to only 1280x1024. This limitation results in an almost unusable screen/monitor. How can I get WIN 10 to allow/utilize my monitor's
best resolution? Thanks

 

How to fix resolution on hp 2310 monitor

I recently purchased a new hp laptop with windows 11 but when i connect it to my hp 2310 monitor via hdmi the outer parts of the screen “hang off the edge” and are not visible, im using the suggested resolution for the monitor (1920x1080). In the past the display has been connected to a windows 10 hp laptop via vga and the suggested resolution displayed fine

I suggest you check and select the 1920x1080 Display Resolution.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the open area on the Desktop.
• Select the Graphics properties.
• Click on Display.
• Under Resolution check and select the 1920x1080 Display Resolution if its present.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

I suggest you to update the Display adapters driver from the Device Manager and check if it works.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right click on Start button and click on Device Manager.

2. Select the Graphic driver from the list by extending Display adapters.

3.Right click on the Graphic driver and click on Update driver Software.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 3:

I would recommend you to download and install the latest driver in compatibility mode for the manufacturer’s website and check if it works.
