Windows 10: Windows 11 Mediaplayer keep files open for a while after closing so delete of file is not...

Hello,I evaluate very often a lot of video .mp4 files most of the time. They are all in a different folder.So start the video file and if it is not good i close the mediaplayer and select the folder and press SHIFT-DEL to delete the complete folder.Since a few weeks i have a issue that when i close mediaplayer when it is playing a .mp4 file and want to delete the folder where the .MP4 file is located there is a meesage that it is not possible because 'the file is open in shell infrastructure host' and they advice to close the file and try again.When i click try again the message comes back bu

Files in mediaplayer on W7

I have some files listed on my windows media player library showing that are no longer on my hard drive. It will not let me delete them for some reason. Waht can I do to get rid of these? I right click, asksme if I want to delete when I click on delete, but nothing happens after that. Obviously the files cannot be accessed when the location no longer exists, any ideas?

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

 

File missing after deleting from Windows Mediaplayer

I deleted a video file via Mediaplayer (have Windows 10) & when it was deleted it also deleted it from the original location. I didn't realize that this setting was checked, which has since been corrected. When searching Mediaplayer, the trash bin, the original
location & ALL files on my computer for the file's name it comes up with nothing.

Any advice on where it would have gone & is there any way to get it back? Appreciate the help.
