Windows 10: Windows 11 Microphone detected and worked in settings, but not in application?

Hello, so I own a Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i Gen 8 82Y7My problem is where the settings can detect signals from my microphone be it the built-in array or from the headset from System > Sound > Properties, but when I use the same microphone for applications such as Discord, no signal is detected from the microphone. I even have Microphone Access enabled for these applications.All Windows updates are installed.How can I fix this?

Microphone Detected in Windows but not Working in Applications

About a week ago my computer shut down for a windows update. When it came back up, the microphone wouldn't work in desktop applications. The microphone is detected in these applications, but no sound will go through. I have checked security settings
and nothing seems to be blocking access. The microphone works within windows settings and Microsoft store applications which made me believe it was something with the security, however nothing seems to be blocking access to desktop applications. I tried
uninstalling the windows update, updating the drivers, and resetting the settings to default with no luck. I tried some random things I have found online and none of it worked.

 

3rd party applications not detecting microphone.

I recently did a full reset of my PC and my microphone stopped detecting any sound on 3rd party applications like browsers or Discord. When I try to record anything, silence is recorded. However it works perfectly fine on all native Windows apps and surprisingly
League of Legends voice chat. Before the reset, everything worked perfectly on all applications. I have only one microphone device enabled (Realtek High Definition Audio) and it's my built-in microphone of my laptop. I've tried everything i found on the internet
but nothing seems to work.

• I updated microphone drivers.
• I allowed apps to access my microphone (in microphone privacy settings)
• I installed all windows updates
• I disabled all sound effects on the device.

Is there anything else I could try?

Okay, after trying the above steps the situation is that:

The inbuilt microphone (Stereo Mix and Microphone Array) does not work on Google Meet or any other application. The wired headphones are working now on every application. The inbuilt microphone (when input is selected as Microphone array) is working with Cortana.
