Windows 10: windows 11 microsoft defender anti-virus keeps deleting files inside an excluded folder

My PC has a single user account, always logged in, set as a local account and as administrator. I don't use any 3rd party antivirus. I have a windows app called "perfect automation" that I use to record and replay keystrokes. This creates an exe that can be scheduled to run at different times. Unfortunately this exe is being identified and removed by the anti virus program, and I get the message "windows defender took action on 1 item ....". So I added the folder as an exclusion and created a new exe in the folder, but windows defender still finds the new exe and removes it, despite the folde

Apparantly, Microsoft posted a list of files that can be "Excluded" from any Anti-Virus that you use to help with scanning performance.

Windows Defender Keeps Deleting File, Even Excluded

So I have a .exe file to play a game. It is a small game and so the file isn't registered or anything like that.

Windows Defender declared it a virus and deleted it, so I added it to the Exclusions list, but for some reason it keeps deleting it anyways. The only effective way to keep it is to turn off Windows Defender, but even then Defender will turn back on at some
random point and delete it again. I have had to just keep redownloading this file to keep playing. I can't seem to find a way to stop it from doing this. Also, I am sure it is not a virus, nor has one hidden in it.

This is super annoying, if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

 

How to scan anti-virus with windows Defender?

For windows 10, I would like to know on how to scan anti-virus with windows Defender, when I select a file and right click, there is no anti-virus for scanning for windows defender and how to make windows defender update automatically?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
