Windows 10: Windows 11, Microsoft Office file validation add in, Install error 0x80240023

Hello, on Windows 11, there Microsoft Office file validation add in, Install error 0x80240023 & it s not fixed irrespective of the retry attempts.Hence, Office cannot be validated.Can you please help me fix this? Thank you!

Yes, I too agree that waiting for 12 to 24 hours is the proper solution to the "Windows update error 0x80240023 for the Microsoft
Office File Validation Add-in update.

So if like me, anyone took my original advice and hid the File Validation Add-in update using the wushowhide utility, you will have to rerun the wushowhide
utility and uh-hide it so that it can update going forward.

me too same situation like yours I tried to install (Paid/Legal Key) Office 2007 on a new acer desktop. Win 10 Ver 2004 All security updates were installed, but I started getting ERROR 0x80240023 for Microsoft Office File Validation Add-in......

I just tried to run windows update and i too think maybe the problem is or could be with Office 2007 thing- all other updates for Office 2007 went thru successfully and no problem issues with installations.

I tried most of what i read here on the forums and it didn't help....
