Windows 10: Windows 11 minimal program start up? Also SSD question

How would I go about having windows 11 start up with minimal programs or window functions? I feel like some programs are sucking my ram dry and slowing down my gaming. Also my new ssd will be here tomorrow. I have windows on my c drive and my games on my d drive. How much of a pain in the butt is it going to be moving steam from an hdd to ssd?

How to actually start program minimized in Windows 10?

Steps i tried to make program (for example: Thunderbird) to load on startup, but minimized:

1. Placed shortcut under: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
   
2. In a shortcut properties i've checked "minimized"
   

Rebooted windows, it does start, but MAXIMIZED! Can't make it minimized, just like on MacOS i could set it hidden.

Hello Community!

I'm trying to get BBC iPlayer downloads to start automagically at 2100 so that it can start downloading Doctor Who. I'd like it to start minimized, but I am unsure how to do so.

In addition to this, does anyone know if there is a list somewhere with all of the default windows program arguments? And can they please provide the link? It would be very useful to me.

Minimized windows don't restore properly

I'll go through it all step by step

1. I open TC (Total Commander or I could say LibreOffice)
2. I minimize TC
3. I click on TC on the task bar to restore it
4. Nothing appears to happen
5. I open the old program "Desk Lite" and center all windows
6. I find TC as pictured in my first post

Desk Lite does not install it's totally self contained. I had not even had it on my laptop at all until after the problem started.

Also, I had 1607 on it which is when the problem started. I had a second, larger SSD which I had been thinking of putting in the laptop so I thought I'd put it in and reinstall Windows 10 as a fresh install from an ISO I d/led from Dell. This put 1511 on the system and the problem persists.

Edit: I apologize if I seem snippy. It's frustrating.
